GET TO KNOW ME

After nearly eight years as a public school counselor, I moved into private practice to assist teens and adults in need. I hold a Master’s in School Counseling from Fairfield University, am board-certified through NBCC, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. 
I care for all of my clients, and work to help them find them the answers they seek. I look forward to speaking with you to learn how I can help you reach your goals.

Individual Counseling

Individual therapy offers a safe and supportive space for adults and teens to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences, while gaining tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. Whether you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can help you uncover patterns, build resilience, and develop healthier ways of coping. For teens, it can also provide guidance in managing the unique pressures of school, friendships, identity, and family dynamics. Through a compassionate and personalized approach, individual therapy empowers clients of all ages to better understand themselves, strengthen their sense of well-being, and move toward the changes they want in life.

Couples Counseling

In my work with couples, I draw on Gottman principles to support relationship growth and foster meaningful connection, helping partners strengthen their foundation of trust, friendship, and shared meaning. By focusing on skills such as building emotional attunement, improving communication, and turning toward each other in moments of need, I guide couples in creating healthier, more resilient bonds. I approach this work with inclusivity at the center, affirming and honoring the wide spectrum of what committed relationships can look like. Whether partners are navigating traditional, non-traditional, or evolving relationship structures, I create a supportive space that respects their unique values and identities while equipping them with tools to deepen connection and thrive together.

Therapy Space

My therapy office is intentionally designed to be a welcoming and peaceful space, offering a calming environment where clients can feel safe, comfortable, and supported. Every detail—from the soothing colors and natural light to the cozy seating and thoughtful décor—has been chosen to foster a sense of ease and belonging. This inviting atmosphere helps create a foundation of safety and trust, allowing clients to let down their guard and focus fully on their personal growth. By cultivating a space that feels both warm and grounding, I aim to support the therapeutic process and encourage clients to engage openly in their journey of healing and self-discovery.
